Dina El Odessy is a PhD candidate and researcher in the Department of Education, University of Oxford. She is currently the Deputy Director of Alexandria Language Schools in Egypt. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, English Department, and earned her MA degree in education from University College London. She hopes to work as a happiness activist, aiming at bringing about change through running courses on well-being, positive psychology and the science of happiness. Her areas of research interest include Islam, holism, education, post-colonialism, positive psychology, and human development.
