Tariq Hilal al Barwani, Knowledge Oman founder, has been invited to speak at the Abu-Dhabi Bett Middle East Leadership Forum 2017 – the annual Middle East Leadership Summit & Expo initiative of the Abu Dhabi Education Council, which brings together the region’s education community to discuss the transformation of education and to discover the innovation that will inspire change.

The event is scheduled to run on April 25 and 26 in Dusit Thani, Abu Dhabi.

The Bett Middle East Leadership Forum 2017 in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council is bringing together more than 1,600 education policy makers, leaders and experts from over 35 countries.

The event will discuss the transformation of education in the region and the roles of innovation and technology in improving outcomes for students.

Barwani has been invited to speak on the advantages of authentic learning in preparing students for success in the 21st century, with a focus on integrating real-world learning experiences into teaching to help students connect with communities and realising the benefits for future employability.

Speakers of Bett ME Leadership Forum include Dr Ali Rashed al Nuaimi, director general, Abu Dhabi Education Council from UAW, Dr Yousef al Ohali, CEO, Tatwee Education Technologies, Saudi Arabia, Dr Fatimah Alhashem, general manager for Teacher Development Department from Kuwait, Barwani, professor Nagwa el Badri, chair of Biomedical Services Programme from Egypt and Dr Dirk Hasedt, executive director, International Association for Evaluation from the Netherlands.

The two-day event will address key challenges, solutions, trends and future educational technologies that impact the future of education in academia that contribute towards the realisation of Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

Experts will discuss and present latest trends, challenges and advancements in education and technology with a distinct focus on the Middle East and Africa.

A large gathering of senior executives, educational practitioner, leaders and entrepreneurs across the region are expected to attend this regional event.
